For Staple’s 20th anniversary last year, Staple and artist James Jean released a limited sculpture on March 4, 2017. This year, the extraordinary sculpture returns in a beautiful bone-white edition — a timeless collectible.

James Jean reimagined Staple’s iconic pigeon as a dramatic hero pierced by arrows. The figure is named after General Washizu from Akira Kurosawa’s “Throne of Blood,” whose ending features a choreographed storm of arrows. Jean’s winged figure embodies perseverance through adversity — a reminder of the slings and arrows anyone might face over 20 years.
